Taggerty Classic Show and Shine

The Annual Taggerty Classic Vehicle Show and Shine is proudly held alongside the popular Taggerty Four Seasons Market on the Saturday of Melbourne Cup Weekend.
Whether you’re a motoring enthusiast or simply looking for a great day out, there’s something for everyone. Browse an impressive display of classic and vintage vehicles, chat with fellow car lovers and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this exciting community event.
While you’re here, be sure to explore the Taggerty Four Seasons Market, featuring local produce, arts, crafts and handmade goods. Grab a gourmet sausage from the market’s famous sausage sizzle, enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and treat yourself to cake and sweet delights.
The event also acts as a fire ready and recruitment drive for Taggerty and adjoining CFA Fire Brigades, with fire trucks on display for kids and big kids alike.
Come along, support local businesses and stallholders, admire some incredible vehicles, and enjoy everything Taggerty has to offer.

Foundation Murrindindi is proud to support this free community recovery event, which is being funded from our Murrindindi Disaster Fund.
We understand that community events like this are an important way to strengthen community wellbeing by promoting social connections, mental wellbeing, inclusion and community participation following the impacts of the Longwood Bushfires.

Held in Rotary Park on the first Sunday of each month, the Grant Street Monthly Market offers a great range of craft stalls, pet supplies, plants, jewellery, and lots of local wares.

Alexandra Pro Rodeo

The 11th annual Alexandra Pro Rodeo is back in January. More bands, more fun around the arena and just as much rodeo action.
This event continues to be regarded as one of the favourite rodeos on the APRA circuit by cowboys, cowgirls and attendees alike. Beyond a full afternoon of action on the arena, visitors can enjoy food stalls, kids amusements, markets and merchandise, bars, and entertainment on the main stage until midnight.
Make a weekend of it, and enjoy the rest that the local region has to offer on the best weekend in January.
